Wild OL Jerome Selected for Team Ontario

Nipissing Wild Offensive Lineman Colin Jerome has made it through a gruelling try-out process to successfully make Team Ontario for the 2013 Canada Cup in Moncton, NB this July. Team Ontario is comprised of the top 40 players in the province born in 1996 and 97.

After making it through the first round of tryouts, Colin was invited to the Red vs. Black mini camp weekend where the top 90 players competed for the 40 roster spots. The weekend finished with a full scrimmage between the two squads where Jerome was named offensive player of the game for team Black.

Wild defensive coordinator Dan Webb also served as linebacker coach in the camp and noted that Jerome definitely stood out amongst the best players in Ontario.

The team would like to congratulate both Colin and Coach Webb, hopefully team Ontario can bring home gold this summer!
